Our Health HUB clinics meet or exceed all cleaning and disinfecting protocols set out by the Ministry of Health, the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. Massage Therapy at Health HUB will include a thorough assessment, an application of manual therapy that will be explained prior to treatment, and often some recommendations on self care. Health HUB practitioners are advocates of Health, Promoters of movement and Wellness Educators. Massage Therapy at Health HUB can be about healing, health maintenance or simply relaxation.

Spencer Yam, Bsc., PT.

Varsity Athlete, Physiotherapist and Green Tea enthusiast Spencer is the newest member of Health HUB. A Bachelor of Science with a specialization in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa and a Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of Western Ontario make Spencer well equipped to tackle any injury that may present. Spencer has a particular interest in working with sports injuries and chronic/complex pain. Spencer observes the human body through the lens of functional movement, paying special attention to how your nervous system and musculoskeletal system interact.

Spencer has continued to shape his understanding of human movement and health by taking post-graduate courses Myofascial release, functional dry needling and manual therapy level 1. Expect a thorough assessment, manual therapy and information that will help you to understand how to better yourself.

Tri is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario with a Master of Physical Therapy and a Bachelor of Science with a specialization in Human Kinetics. He has a keen interest in strength training and has completed courses in Functional Dry Needling and Manual Therapy.

Terry began his studies when he had more hair at the University of Ottawa in the Kinesiology program and completed his Physiotherapy degree at the University of Toronto. During his professional career Terry has developed extensive clinical experience in orthopaedics, pre and post surgical protocols, sports medicine, performance training and lifestyle management.

Terry has worked with athletes of all levels. These have included recreational athletes right through to olympic and professional athletes. This has included but is not limited to players from the NHL, MLB and NFL. Terry’s goal is to bridge the gap between rehab and performance and create resiliency to further injury.
